Swan Lake

I've received some of my solo shots from my Swan Lake shoot with EdwinR Photography. I've been dying to see these, and they may very well be my favorite shots I've ever taken. I cannot express how much I completely love & adore these. The dramatic lighting just makes them. :) <3

I shot with the Edwins again. I had a Swan Lake concept I was dying to shoot, and they were gracious enough to bring it to life for me. I haven't seen the pics yet, but I'm on the edge of my seat with excitement waiting for them. The socked images above are just some silly, cute shots we did while waiting on Dessie to arrive from another job. I'm pretty pleased with them. They captured the light, playful mood we were in.

I've said it before- I'm in love with thrift stores. I've been compiling the most fabulous fall wardrobe over the past week. We're hitting up Thrift City USA today to see what goodies they've got. I'll probably end up posting a bunch of looks here just to be a little show-off. Yesterday, I found the whole Gossip Girl book series for a dollar apiece. (Secret guilty indulgence, mmm!) I read like a fiend- I'm already on Book 4. :P

Tomorrow I'll be shooting with Marc of MMP Studios again. I've worked with him more than any other photographer. He's always got such great advice; I feel like I'm learning just as much as I'm working when I'm over there. Its been really cold the last couple days here.. can't wait to hop in a nice heated pool. ;)

New, new, everything is new.. :]

Life has been good. We finally got a red couch cover for the living room. It ties in perfectly with the wall decal, which finally came in. It was super easy to put up, and looks fabulous. Looks more like paint on the wall than a sticker. Voila:

My corset got here yesterday. I got it off Ebay for only $30. I'd like to get the same one in black as well. I'd love to wear it for the right shoot, but haven't had too much luck in that department. Can't you just see it in a pretty fairytale-esque setting?

Speaking of photoshoots, I did one this past Monday. It went very well. We chose a bondage theme, with lots of black and red to match my new hair color.

NSFW, but whatevs. You shouldn't be on the internet at work anyways. ;)

I am now a red velvet cupcake.

I never did go blonde. Nope. In fact, I lost my mind and dyed my hair with Raw's 'Fire Red.' I researched several different shades and brands online before purchasing this one. It seemed closest to the shade I was after, and sure enough, its PERFECT. I'm in love with it. I wore my hair short all day, and installed the extensions earlier this evening. I'm LOVING this hair. Its been so long since I've had something bright and wild and crazy. I feel so ME. Why didn't I do this before?!

 Before extensions.. I know, I know, adorable right?! :D I'm so stoked.

And with added extensions.. the weave came out a bit brighter than my real hair, which gives it a cool ombre effect.


In other news.. My boyfriend's birthday was last Wednesday. Went to Carraba's, had a good time. Today we celebrated our six month anniversary. I'm very much in love with him. We moved in together recently and everything has gone perfectly.

I'm doing a photoshoot this Thursday evening. Its going to have a black/red/white theme, which will complement my new hair nicely. Some of it will have a bondage spin. The photographer has even supplied some red rope, which is pretty cool.

Anyways, I'm outie. The hour is late and my boyfriend's being a pest. Goodnight. <3 :]
